Service Requests
This page is used to track what services the community has the most interest in and whether or not they are viable additions to the BSD Café services.
Availability
In this section, the BSD Café Barista can place notes regarding current availability. Hardware, network or time resources may be limited in a given period, making it unlikely that new services will be added.
- No availability notes are in effect
This is meant as added context for someone considering creating a new request or waiting for a request to be evaluated. It should not be interpreted as discouragement to add a new request.
Requests
To add your vote to an existing request, just edit this page and add your signature to the list under the corresponding service, below the last vote. To add a new request, add an item to the list. Optionally, you can make the item a hyperlink to the service's website. Immediately below it, add a sub-item with your signature.
To add a signature, use the “Insert signature” button in the wiki editor toolbar. Any BSD Café member is eligible to vote (meaning anyone with an account on one of the services provided by BSD Café).
By default, the wiki software will link your username to your email. Feel free to remove the hyperlink and leave only your username if you'd rather not have that being public.
If you don't have an account on this wiki, you can simply create one. If for whatever reason you would rather not do that, you can contact jutty directly to have the vote added on your behalf. This may be done over BSD Café's Mastodon/snac or Matrix. The contact information is in the linked profile. Your handle will be displayed in the list above to identify your vote.

- No approved requests yet
Archived requests
Requests that were archived, meaning they will not be added to the currently offered services, and the reasons behind the decision.
- No archived requests yet
This avoids repeated requests but also keeps a record in case the request is reevaluated in the future.
